The Council also welcomed Robert Salazar as a newly elected member. His addition brings a fresh perspective to the governing body as the city continues to expand and evolve.

In addition, Wes Houck was appointed by the Council to serve another year, ensuring continued experience and stability on the dais.

During the meeting, Charlotte McDonald was appointed as Mayor Pro Tempore. In this role, she will assist in leadership responsibilities and serve in the Mayor’s absence when needed.

The Council also took time to recognize the service of outgoing councilmember David Cooper, who officially retired after many years of dedicated service to the City of Wolfforth. His commitment and contributions have played a meaningful role in shaping the community, and he leaves behind a lasting legacy of public service.

As Wolfforth continues to grow, the city remains focused on strong leadership, thoughtful planning, and maintaining the high quality of life that residents value.
